Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WellGuide LLC, doing business as AutoDNA (“AutoDNA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with our mobile pre-purchase vehicle inspection services, our website at inspectiondna.com, and the inspection reports we deliver.
This Privacy Policy applies together with our Pre-Purchase Inspection Terms and Conditions. By booking an inspection, contacting us, or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are and How to Reach Us
AutoDNA is a mobile pre-purchase vehicle inspection service operating in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, Texas, United States.
For any privacy question, request, or complaint, contact us by email at wellguidellc.com@gmail.com or by phone or WhatsApp at +1 (430) 200-5051.
2. Information You Give Us
When you request or book an inspection, or contact us by phone, WhatsApp, text message, email, or our website form, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and, where you provide it, your address;
- The vehicle you want inspected — make, model, year, VIN, mileage, and the online listing link if you supply one;
- The address or location where the inspection is to be performed, and the seller or dealership contact information you provide;
- Your preferred inspection date and time, the package you select, and any notes or instructions you write for the inspector; and
- The content of your messages, calls, and other communications with us.
You choose what to send us. If you leave out information we need to schedule or perform the inspection, we may not be able to provide the service.
3. Information We Create During an Inspection
Performing an inspection produces records about the vehicle, which are linked to your booking. These may include:
- Photographs and video of the vehicle, its components, the odometer, the VIN plate, and any defects observed;
- Diagnostic trouble codes, scan results, live data, readiness-monitor status, and battery or charging-system data read from the vehicle;
- Measurements, notes, checklist entries, and the inspector’s written observations;
- The completed inspection report and any vehicle-history report obtained for you; and
- Appointment records, invoices, payment status, refunds, and customer-support correspondence.
Photographs taken at an inspection are of the vehicle and its surroundings. We do not set out to photograph people, and we ask inspectors to avoid capturing bystanders, licence plates of uninvolved vehicles, and the interior of private property beyond what is needed to document the vehicle.
4. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit inspectiondna.com, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request. This is used to operate the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
When you submit the booking form, we additionally record your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, and the date and time at which you accepted the Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, together with the version of those documents shown to you. This record exists so that both you and we can later establish exactly what was agreed and when.
5. Advertising and Analytics Cookies
Our website uses the Google Ads conversion tag. It sets cookies and similar identifiers in your browser so that Google can report, in aggregate, how many people who clicked one of our advertisements went on to request an inspection, call us, or open a WhatsApp conversation.
We use this only to measure and improve our advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to build profiles about you beyond what Google’s advertising measurement provides.
You can limit this in several ways: adjust your Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com, opt out of personalised advertising at optout.aboutads.info, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or enable your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour as an opt-out of targeted advertising where applicable law requires it.
Blocking these cookies does not prevent you from browsing the site or booking an inspection.
6. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Schedule, confirm, perform, document, and deliver the inspection you ordered;
- Contact you about your appointment, your report, and any follow-up questions;
- Take payment and maintain invoices, accounting, and tax records;
- Provide customer support and respond to questions, complaints, and disputes;
- Train our inspectors and check the quality and consistency of our work;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse of our services;
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising, in aggregate;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, including payment disputes and chargebacks; and
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.
7. Text Messages, WhatsApp, and Marketing
We contact you by phone, text message, WhatsApp, or email about the inspection you booked. These are service messages and are part of providing the service you requested.
Consent to receive marketing or promotional messages is separate, optional, and never a condition of booking an inspection. Where the booking form offers text-message or WhatsApp options, ticking them is your choice, and declining them does not affect your booking.
You can stop marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to a text message, by telling us in a WhatsApp or email reply, or by contacting us using the details in Section 1. We will still send you the messages needed to complete an inspection you have booked.
Message and data rates may apply under your own mobile plan. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
8. Payments
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account credentials through our website. Payments are handled directly between you and us, or through a payment provider whose own privacy policy and security practices apply to the card data you enter with them.
Our records contain the amount, the package, the payment status, the date, any discount or refund, and enough information to identify the transaction — not your card details.
9. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the advertising measurement described in Section 5.
We share personal information only as follows:
- Our inspectors and staff, who receive the booking, vehicle, and location details they need to perform your inspection;
- Service providers who operate our infrastructure and tools on our behalf — hosting, data storage, backups, messaging, email, and scheduling — under obligations to protect the information and use it only for us;
- Vehicle-history providers such as CARFAX or AutoCheck, when a history report is part of your package, using the VIN in order to obtain the report;
- Payment providers, as described in Section 8;
- Advertising measurement, as described in Section 5, in aggregate rather than as identified customer records;
- Professional advisers, such as accountants, insurers, and lawyers, where necessary;
- Authorities and other parties, where we are legally required to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of any person; and
- A successor, if our business or its assets are sold, merged, or reorganised — in which case this Privacy Policy continues to apply to the transferred information until it is replaced by a notice to you.
10. Sharing Your Report With Others
Your inspection report is prepared for you. You decide whether to share it, and with whom — a seller, dealership, repair shop, lender, insurer, or family member.
We do not send your report to the seller, the dealership, or anyone else without your instruction, except where the person paying for the inspection is the person who ordered it and is therefore our customer.
If you share the report yourself, the recipient receives whatever it contains. As explained in the Terms and Conditions, no third party may rely on the report as a customer of AutoDNA.
11. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or for as long as the law requires.
In practice: booking, inspection, report, invoice, and consent records are retained for the period during which a dispute, warranty question, chargeback, insurance claim, tax audit, or legal claim relating to that inspection could still reasonably arise, and for as long as applicable Texas limitation periods and tax and accounting rules require. Website technical logs are kept for a much shorter period, sufficient to operate and secure the site.
Consent records are retained for as long as we retain the booking they belong to, because their purpose is to evidence what was agreed at the time.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous so that you, the seller, and the vehicle can no longer be identified from it.
12. Marketing Use of Photographs
We do not use vehicle photographs, your information, or your inspection records in advertising, on social media, or in promotional case studies without your separate permission — except where the material has been anonymised so that you, the seller, and the vehicle cannot reasonably be identified.
13. Security
We protect personal information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections to our website and systems, access limited to staff who need it to do their work, individual staff accounts, and regular backups.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a determined attack, an interception in transit, or a failure by a third party will never occur. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
14. Your Choices and Rights
Whatever state you live in, you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and give you a copy of it;
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- Delete information we no longer need to keep;
- Stop sending you marketing messages; and
- Stop the use of cookies for advertising measurement, as described in Section 5.
Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to obtain a portable copy of information you provided to us and the right to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights. We extend the choices listed above to every customer regardless of residence.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 1. We will ask for enough information to verify that the request is really yours, which normally means confirming details of a booking you made with us. We do not charge for a reasonable request, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows — no later than 45 days, with one extension where the law permits it and we tell you why.
An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written authorisation that we can verify.
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision or writing to us using the contact details in Section 1. We will respond to an appeal within 60 days, explaining our decision. If we deny the appeal, you may complain to the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
Deleting information does not extend to records we are required to keep — for example accounting and tax records, or records relating to an active or reasonably anticipated legal claim.
15. Sensitive Information
We do not ask for and do not need government identification numbers, financial account credentials, biometric information, health information, precise background-check data, or information about your race, religion, or other sensitive categories. Please do not send such information to us. If you do, we will delete it once we notice it, unless we are required to keep it.
16. Children
Our services are directed to adults purchasing vehicles. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our website is not intended for them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
17. Third-Party Websites
Our website and reports may link to third parties — vehicle listings, vehicle-history reports, WhatsApp, mapping services, and manufacturer recall pages. Those services are controlled by other companies and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.
18. Where Information Is Processed
We operate in the United States, and personal information is stored and processed there. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your own country.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or the law change. Each revision is published at a dated address of its own, and the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page always identifies the current version.
We do not edit a published version in place. This is deliberate: it means that a consent record created on any given day can always be matched to the exact wording that was in force that day.
If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly rather than rely on this page alone.
20. Contact
Questions, requests, and complaints about privacy go to wellguidellc.com@gmail.com, or by phone or WhatsApp to +1 (430) 200-5051. We read every message and will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
